I LOVE THE LAKE!

So, the lake is one of our VERY VERY favorite things! This is how Kevin and I met, fell in love, and just have a good time! I am getting so hyper just thinking and writing about it! We went last night and had so much fun. It's always a good time. If we could, we would live on the lake and go out every single day! Here are some pictures from this summer :) Ahh!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Alright already

Yes, I know...it has been forever! Trust me, I have gotten a lot of crap for not keeping up and I am constantly reminded that I need to post. So...here it is: Kevin and I are doing great! Things continue to get better and better; at least for me they do. I think Kevin is SOL no matter what...he married me! Sorry Babe! We are getting ready to move soon. We have to be out of our house at the end of October. Where are we moving? I wish I knew! We have no idea right now. Kevin promises that we won't be out on the street but I guess we will see. We have been looking for a house in our ward because we love love our ward and our callings! Kevin is over the Teachers in Young Men's and I am over the Beehives in Young Womens. It is so different seeing things from a "leaders" perspective. I love it! My Young Women are so dang cute! They want to have a slumber party over here so bad! I keep telling them they have to ask Brother Morris. They finally worked up the courage and he totally shot them down and said no! Ahh...it was so sad! We really wouldn't have been able to do it but it was still sad :) Anyway, that's whats going on with us! P.S. Kevin got me a new ring and it is SO SO PRETTY! Love him so much!

Bachelor's of Art in Education!!!

I am so excited! I FINALLY got an email today saying that ASU has emailed me my diploma! I graduated in December and they are just barely sending it! Well, it is partially my fault (well kind of). I had gay parking tickets from gay ASU that totalled A LOT of money. I paid it like 2 or 3 months ago though and they are finally getting it out! Yippee!! I can't wait to get it! These are some of the lovely ladies that I spent every day with for almost a year! Even though it was awful, I really miss it. I would go back to school in an instant! Ahh...it makes me sad. I miss sitting at the end of my table with my pink backpack. Good times! Anyway...super excited to get my diploma!

Lovin' the Lake!

A couple weekends ago, Kevin and I decided to head down to good ole' San Carlos Lake! We had such a good time! Jason and Shila, Landon and Rachel, and Blaine all came with us. The water was glass all day and there was no one on the lake!!! It was awesome. I was totally impressed with Jason. He gets so serious air! Anyway, Shila insisted that Kevin and I take a picture so... here ya go! By the way, I know how fabulous I look so please just ignore the fly away hair and oversized sunglasses :)

2 Months and Still Kickin' Baby!

Well, well.... It is amazing how quickly 2 months has gone by! Kevin and I are busy busy all the time and are loving being married! It is like a slumber party every night :) Things are really going great. I think we are both pretty adjusted to our new lifestyle and routine. Poor Kevin has had to give up quite a bit (9 years as a Bachelor didn't help!) and having a "roommate" has been different for me as well (living alone for 2 1/2 years didn't help!)! Everyday Kevin amazes me more and more. He is like the dream husband...cooks, cleans (a lot!), laundry, wake up calls, and the list goes on. Things are just great!
On Monday, I took my State Insurance Test. It was by far one of the most difficult tests that I have ever taken! With only a few hours of study, I passed!! I am so excited about it. I just have to send in my test scores, pay my dues, and I will be licenced to sell insurance! (Plus I get a raise..nice right?!) On Sunday night, I was getting really nervous about it. I asked Kevin to give me a blessing. The only blessings that I have gotten have all been from my dad. It was so awesome to have a worthy preisthood holder as a husband that could give me a blessing. Ahh...it was so sweet and it really helped calm my nerves and obviously...pass my test!
Kevin is staying busy with work and school. He has a couple more weeks of his summer course and I believe he is glad it's almost over. In August, he will have been working for SRP for 5 years! It's a great job but everyday I feel so bad for him having to wake up at 3:45 in the morning and working in the hot hot hot 115 degree sun! A cold shower is the first thing on his list when he gets home!
Of course, not all things are great! Since we got married, I have gained 8 pounds! Totally depressing! It seriously makes me so so sad (and I feel bad for Kevin). I have set a goal for myself to drop the additional pounds plus a little more! If anyone has some advice for me, PLEASE PLEASE let me know! I can use all the help I can get!
